Schuco 1:18 Lada Niva #157 White

At the Paris-Dakar, we could see everything in terms of vehicles: from the 2CV to the Rolls-Royce, through to the emblematic Pajero, Hilux, or Range Rover. So, in the 80s, it was no surprise when a few Lada Niva came to try their luck on the biggest rally-raid. In 1983, the little Russian 4×4 driven by André Trossat made headlines by finishing second behind Jacky Ickx’s Mercedes !
